Career calling is defined as a transcendent and pervasive passion-driven approach to a job that is perceived as meaningful, central to one’s identity, contributing to the greater good, and worth making sacrifices for (Vianello et al., 2018). Job crafting involves proactive actions that enable individuals to modify their work tasks, relationships or cognitive boundaries to foster positive work experiences, reframe job purposes, and alter work perception (Wrzesniewski & Dutton, 2001). The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between career calling and job crafting. A meta-analysis and a systematic literature review were conducted following the PRISMA protocol. The results of the systematic literature review and meta-analysis will be presented and discussed in the thesis.
