The thesis draws on three Greek myths (Narcissus, Medusa, and Dionysus), considered by Vernant as "in constant opposition between Other and Same, civilization and wildness," to examine some of the contributions of Lacan, Winnicott, Green, and Bion. Two clinical cases from Lemma and La Scala are also examined. The paper considers the importance of "boundaries" in metapsychology and clinical psychoanalysis, and how the happy balance between their separation and permeability contributes to a satisfying intrapsychic and relational structuring of the subject.
La tesi prende spunto da tre miti greci (Narciso, Medusa e Dioniso) considerati da Vernant come in "costante opposizione tra Altro e Identico, civiltà e selvatichezza", per esaminare alcuni contributi di Lacan, Winnicott, Green e Bion. Vengono inoltre esaminati due casi clinici di Lemma e La Scala. Il lavoro prende in considerazione l'importanza dei "confini" nella metapsicologia e nella clinica psicoanalitica, e quanto il felice equilibrio tra separazione e permeabilità degli stessi contribuisca ad una soddisfacente strutturazione intrapsichica e relazionale del soggetto.
