The use of the phenomenological approach makes a significant contribution to the advancement of research on meditation, as it allows for an in-depth examination of first-person accounts of meditative experiences, promoting a greater understanding of their content, processes, and effects. This work, through the use of the phenomenological lens, explores the experience of advanced meditation through a comparative analysis of the accounts of the meditative states of experienced and intermediate practitioners, their opinions on the nature of the mind/consciousness and on the prospects of the end of life, the effects on non-meditative states, relationships, sleep, and dreams related to the practice, and outlines the differences.

Abstract
The use of the phenomenological approach makes a significant contribution to the advancement of research on meditation, as it allows for an in-depth examination of first-person accounts of meditative experiences, promoting a greater understanding of their content, processes, and effects. This work, through the use of the phenomenological lens, explores the experience of advanced meditation through a comparative analysis of the accounts of the meditative states of experienced and intermediate practitioners, their opinions on the nature of the mind/consciousness and on the prospects of the end of life, the effects on non-meditative states, relationships, sleep, and dreams related to the practice, and outlines the differences.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
