The paper aims to investigate the relationships between generative AI and photography, comparing the technical, aesthetic and creative aspects of these techniques and how they relate to individual memory and consequently to collective and historical memory. What are the dangers and how can we defend ourselves from the danger of “false memory”?

L'elaborato si pone l'obiettivo di indagare i rapporti tra AI generativa e la fotografia, confrontando gli aspetti tecnici, estetici e creativi di queste tecniche e il modo in questi si relazionano con la memoria individuale e di conseguenza con quella collettiva e storica. Quali sono i pericoli e come ci si può difendere dalla "falsa memoria"?
