The thesis aims to investigate the health status of Alpine grasslands and pastures over the last 20 years. To achieve this, Google Earth Engine was used to analyze NDVI between 2000 and 2023; the presence and distribution of pastures between 2000 and 2018; potential erosion and future erosion by 2070, based on RCP 2.6, 4.5, and 8.5 scenarios.
La tesi ha l'obiettivo di indagare lo stato di salute dei prati-pascoli delle Alpi nel corso degli ultimi 20 anni. Per fare ciò, si è utilizzato Google Earth Engine per analizzare l'NDVI tra 2000-2023; la presenza e distribuzione dei pascoli tra 2000-2018; l'erosione potenziale e l'erosione futura del 2070, sulla base degli scenari RCP 2.6, 4.5, 8.5.
