Title: Digital Divide in Italy: Variation in Technology Use by Age, Gender, Education, and Region This study explores how the use of digital technologies differs among people in Italy based on their age, gender, education level, and region. Using data from the 2023 Aspetti della vita quotidiana (AVQ) survey by ISTAT, the research aims to describe which groups use the internet, computers, and smartphones more often, and which groups are less connected. The study will use descriptive statistics and simple regression analysis to show patterns of digital inequality across the country. The results will help to understand the main differences in technology use among Italian citizens and support future policies that promote equal access to digital tools and opportunities.
