This thesis investigates the integration of ethnic diversity into the managerial ranks of Italian businesses, highlighting the importance of multicultural leadership in fostering innovative and inclusive corporate environments. Many organizations face difficulties in reflecting this diversity at the leadership level, despite Italy's rich cultural heritage and increasing demographic diversity. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with managers and employees across various sectors to assess current practices, perceptions, and challenges related to ethnic diversity in management.
Questa tesi indaga l'integrazione della diversità etnica nei ranghi manageriali delle imprese italiane, evidenziando l'importanza della leadership multiculturale nel promuovere ambienti di business innovativi e inclusivi. Nonostante il ricco patrimonio culturale italiano e la crescente diversità demografica, molte organizzazioni faticano a riflettere questa diversità ai livelli di leadership. Il presente studio utilizza un approccio misto, che combina indagini quantitative e interviste qualitative con manager e dipendenti di vari settori per valutare le pratiche attuali, le percezioni e le sfide relative alla diversità etnica nella gestione.
