The project’s aim was the synthesys of biodegradable polymeric nanoparticles, which can be used to deliver drugs and nucleic acids. This project focused on the loading of drugs, looking towards a targeted delivery of those. On the other hand, modifications of the external surface with folic acid derivatives were also explored, achieved through changes in polar heads of surfactants. To do this, nanoparticles based on multifunctional derivatives of lipoic acid were synthesized, combining nanoprecipitation and polymerization methods in microemulsion.

Abstract
The project’s aim was the synthesys of biodegradable polymeric nanoparticles, which can be used to deliver drugs and nucleic acids. This project focused on the loading of drugs, looking towards a targeted delivery of those. On the other hand, modifications of the external surface with folic acid derivatives were also explored, achieved through changes in polar heads of surfactants. To do this, nanoparticles based on multifunctional derivatives of lipoic acid were synthesized, combining nanoprecipitation and polymerization methods in microemulsion.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
