The thesis focuses on the preparation for an environmental Life Cycle Analysis of ABS plastic waste at Arrital, a wood-furniture company. It analyses current waste management practices and outlines potential alternative scenarios. The methodology includes review of relevant literature, data collection, and qualitative modelling of different recycling and disposal scenarios. The work primarily aims to define Goal&Scope and Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) for the different cases, identifying key data requirements and methodological challenges. The study provides a preliminary basis for further Life Cycle Assessment evaluations and supports informed decisions regarding sustainable ABS waste management and recycling practices.
