This thesis explores the role of European projects as tools for integration, funding distribution, and value dissemination across the EU. It investigates how organizations access and implement EUfunded projects, and the ways they interact simultaneously in various consortia, according to its role. Through qualitative interviews and project analysis, the research examines a case study of a Foundation, focussing on project goals, consortium structures, funding mechanisms, and core concepts such as participation, sustainability, and democratic engagement. The study connects these practices to broader theories around European structural funds and other European funding entities, offering insights into how EU values are operationalized through concrete local actions.
