Nowadays, numerous policies aim to support the transition from a linear to a circular economy by reducing dependence on fossil fuels and promoting a more sustainable use of resources. This thesis investigates acidogenic fermentation for the production of carboxylic acids from organic wastes, with a particular focus on whey.
Numerose politiche al giorno d'oggi mirano a favorire il passaggio da un'economia lineare a una circolare, riducendo la dipendenza dai combustibili fossili e promuovendo un uso più sostenibile delle risorse. In questa tesi viene analizzato il processo di fermentazione acidogenica per la produzione di acidi carbossilici a partire da rifiuti organici, specialmente siero di latte.
