In the continuously evolving industrial scenario, considering the transition to Industry 5.0, collaborative robots are emerging as a main player due to their flexibility and inherently human-friendly design. This thesis adopts a case study-based approach, with data collected during an internship on the company’s collaborative robot. The presented case studies were selected as representative of different application tasks, environments and critical issues. Moreover, for two of the treated cases, an illustrative software script was developed as an example to guide implementation and facilitate reusability. The performed analysis aims to highlight the main advantages and disadvantages of cobot deployment in various real-world, operational industrial applications, leading to best practices for effective integration and reduced time-to-market.
