The aim of the thesis is to deal with applications of optimal control models combined with sustainability. Starting with an overview of what optimal control and sustainability are, we, then, analyze different application of those two concepts to renewable and non-renewable resources. We then conclude with some considerations about how implement sustainability in economics models and what would imply this implementation.
