The research undertakes an in-depth investigation of the renowned Vicentine workshop of the Marinali family, sculptors active in the Berici area from the second half of the seventeenth century. Starting from the study of a volume of drawings signed by Francesco Antonio Marinali, son of the workshop master Orazio, and preserved at the Civic Museum of Palazzo Chiericati in Vicenza. In order to better define the figure of Francesco Antonio Marinali, it was decided to begin with an analysis of the volume, serving as a starting point for broader reflections on his work and his role within the flourishing workshop of Vicentine sculptors.
