The central theme revolves around the concept of gift starting from the anthropological context and then moving on to the educational sphere. The movement of the M.A.U.S.S is examined; its exponents are concerned with elaborating a third paradigm defined "of the gift" with the aim of identifying the founding element of society, that is the factor at the basis of the construction of social relationships between individuals. Starting from this perspective, the relationship between gift and education is highlighted and in particular the educational and caring bond that is established between the educator and the one being educated. This bond implies giving oneself totally to the other, giving oneself, one's heart, one's soul and one's love with the aim of knowing deeply the learner and accompanying him on the path of growth by promoting their improvement and well-being.
Il tema centrale ruota attorno al concetto di dono a partire dal contesto antropologico per poi passare all'ambito educativo. Viene preso in esame il movimento del M.A.U.S.S.; i suoi esponenti si occupano di elaborare un terzo paradigma definito "del dono" con lo scopo di individuare l'elemento fondante della società, ovvero il fattore alla base della costruzione dei rapporti sociali tra gli individui. A partire da tale prospettiva viene posta in risalto la relazione tra dono ed educazione e in particolare il legame educativo e di cura che si stabilisce tra educatore ed educando. Tale legame implica il donarsi totalmente all'altro, donare se stessi, il proprio cuore, la propria anima e il proprio amore con lo scopo di conoscere nel profondo l'educando e di accompagnarlo nel percorso della crescita promuovendone il miglioramento e il benessere.
