Introduction: Oral health in children is essential for overall well-being and should be systematically integrated into pediatric practice. Early childhood caries can negatively affect development, particularly in socioeconomically disadvantaged populations. Pediatricians, as the first point of contact with the healthcare system, play a key role in prevention and in educating families. Effective collaboration with pediatric dentists can enhance preventive strategies and ensure more comprehensive care for the child. Aim: This study aims to analyze the role and level of awareness of pediatricians regarding the promotion and prevention of oral health in pediatric patients. Furthermore, it seeks to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of collaboration between pediatricians and pediatric dentists on these issues, with the goal of encouraging its development and raising awareness among the physicians involved in the study. Materials and Methods: A questionnaire was developed using the Google Forms platform and administered to pediatricians and pediatric residents. The survey included questions related to oral health, aimed at assessing participants’ knowledge, awareness, and educational background on the topic. The questionnaire was designed based on a review of the scientific literature and on the evaluation of similar previously published studies. Results: A total of 90 physicians completed the questionnaire; among them, 62 pediatricians primarily worked in hospital/university settings, while 28 identified as primary care pediatricians. The sample included 45 residents, 21 specialists with 0–10 years of experience, and 24 specialists with more than 10 years of experience. Conclusions: Primary care pediatricians and those with more than 10 years of clinical experience appear to play a more prominent role in the prevention and promotion of oral health in children, also demonstrating more frequent collaboration with pediatric dentists. However, the results highlight the need to further strengthen this collaboration and to improve physicians’ knowledge in the field of oral health, both during specialist training and through continuing education programs.
