Tre traduzioni: Gustave Flaubert ed Eugène Delacroix nelle parole di Lalla Romano

The research aims to reconstruct the origins of Lalla Romano’s intimate and autobiographical writing through the study of her activity as a translator. Through a comparative analysis with other Italian translations of the same texts, the study highlights the main linguistic and stylistic strategies adopted by Romano, bringing to light the processes of reception, mediation, and reworking of French models within her narrative writing.

La ricerca si propone di ricostruire le origini della scrittura intima e autobiografica di Lalla Romano attraverso lo studio della sua attività traduttiva. Mediante un’analisi comparativa con altre traduzioni italiane dei medesimi testi, lo studio evidenzia le principali strategie linguistiche e stilistiche adottate da Romano, mettendo in luce i processi di ricezione, mediazione e rielaborazione dei modelli francesi all’interno della sua scrittura narrativa.
