Analysis of Historia Natural y Moral de las Indias (1590) by father José de Acosta and Historica Relacion del Reyno de Chile (1646) by father Alonso de Ovalle. The research aims to analyze the concepts of nature, religion and civilization, and how they are developed in these two jesuit hitorical documents of Modern Age, finding convergences and divergences between the two. This work tries to examine how these two authors applied the three foundamental concepts in their works and what their work tell about their approach to the concepts of nature, religion and civilization.

Analisi della Historia Natural y Moral de las Indias (1590) di padre José de Acosta e della Historica Relacion del Reyno de Chile (1646) di padre Alonso de Ovalle. L'elaborato analizza i concetti di natura, religione e civiltà all'interno di questi due prodotti della storiografia gesuita in America, trovando tra di esse convergenze e divergenze, nel tentativo di esaminare come questi autori abbiano applicato tali concetti nei loro testi e come i loro testi raccontino del loro rapporto col trinomio natura-religione-civiltà.
