.This thesis examines the role of sustainability in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and its relevance in corporate growth strategies. In recent years, sustainability has become an increasingly important factor in strategic decision-making, influencing both firms and investors. At the same time, the literature highlights the complexity of the relationship between sustainability and firm performance, which appears to be context-dependent and not univocal. Within this framework, the study explores how the integration of sustainability may influence corporate behaviour in the context of M&A, with particular attention to its potential implications for growth strategies.

Abstract
.This thesis examines the role of sustainability in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and its relevance in corporate growth strategies. In recent years, sustainability has become an increasingly important factor in strategic decision-making, influencing both firms and investors. At the same time, the literature highlights the complexity of the relationship between sustainability and firm performance, which appears to be context-dependent and not univocal. Within this framework, the study explores how the integration of sustainability may influence corporate behaviour in the context of M&A, with particular attention to its potential implications for growth strategies.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
