Organisational planning and crisis management: an empirical analysis of italian companies

This thesis analyze the role of planning systems within Management control systems during periods of organisational crisis. The study examines how the principal management control tools behave before, during and after a crisis. The study is based on a qualitative design based on seven case studies of Italian firms, investigated through semi-structured interviews. The analysis aims to capture the variety of organisational reactions and the reasoning behind each choice.
