In increasingly complex and regulated manufacturing environments, warehouse and logistics operations play a critical role in ensuring both efficiency and service quality. This thesis investigates the application of lean methodologies within warehouse logistics and inventory management through a case study conducted at Stevanato Group. The study adopts a case-based methodology, combining Value Stream Mapping (VSM), process analysis, and performance measurement to assess the current (“as-is”) state and design improved (“to-be”) logistics processes. The results suggest that the integration of lean methodologies with data-driven decision-making and process standardization can significantly enhance operational efficiency while maintaining compliance and service reliability. This research contributes to the existing literature by addressing the gap between lean theory and its practical implementation in complex, high-quality manufacturing contexts.
