The aim of the thesis was to understand how mountains and their special features are protected by national and regional legislation in Italy, and how mountain areas are also protected and recognised at EU and international level, in order to try to understand the impact of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Cortina.
La tesi svolta si è posta come obiettivo capire in che modo la montagna e le sue particolarità siano tutelate dalla legislazione nazionale e regionale in Italia, e come le zone montane siano, inoltre, tutelate e riconosciute anche a livello comunitario e internazionale, per cercare poi di comprendere l’impatto dei Giochi Olimpici invernali che si svolgeranno a Cortina nel 2026
