This paper is devoted to a comparative analysis of the integration of migrant women in Germany and Italy, focusing on their access to the labor market. The study proceeds from the premise that labor participation is one of the key mechanisms of social integration, as it is associated with economic independence, social inclusion, and the possibility of sustainable participation in the life of the host society. The focus is on the main barriers faced by migrant women, including gender inequality, labor market segmentation, family responsibilities, language difficulties, and institutional constraints. The work aims to identify how differences in the socio-economic and institutional contexts of Germany and Italy affect the opportunities for labor and social integration of migrant women.
