This thesis focuses on the energy and functional analysis of the high-efficiency experimental building Unizeb, with particular reference to monitoring-based commissioning and real performance assessment of the building and its technical systems. The work includes the description of the case study, the development of an energy model, the analysis of the installed HVAC systems, and the evaluation of the related control and supervision strategies. Particular attention will be given to the use of experimental data collected through the monitoring system in order to assess the building behaviour, evaluate data quality, identify possible operational issues, and compare expected and measured performance. The final objective is to define a monitoring-based analysis methodology able to support energy commissioning, model validation, and the optimization of building system operation.
