The second half of the 20th century was marked by profound macroeconomic changes, including the end of the Bretton Woods system, the oil crises, and the rise of neoliberal policies aimed at market liberalization and deregulation. These transformations contributed to increasing the centrality of finance in the global economy, giving rise to the phenomenon of financialization. At the same time, non-financial firms began to incorporate financial logic into their strategies and behavior. In this context, this study analyzes the process of financialization at Nestlé S.A. over the period 1970–2025, empirically verifying the presence and evolution of the key indicators identified in the literature. The analysis combines a review of corporate documentation with an examination of financial statement data to assess how financialization has affected the company’s structure and economic-financial behavior.

Abstract
The analysis combines a review of corporate documentation with an examination of financial statement data to assess how financialization has affected the company’s structure and economic-financial behavior.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
