Organizations are currently struggling with fragmentation across people, processes, and data. This results in limited transparency and not so effective and optimal decision-making. This thesis investigates how enterprise context can be established to support data-driven Demand and Portfolio Management through an innovative framework. The research focuses on the definition of context-enabling elements within manufacturing and the development of a structured decision framework to support demand evaluation and prioritization of initiatives, portfolios, programs and projects. It is then connected to a manufacturing proof of concept to demonstrate the practical feasibility of the proposed approach and its potential to support more transparent and evidence-based decisions.
