This thesis develops a decision framework for resolving corporate distress under the Italian Code of Crisis and Insolvency (CCII), connecting the economic diagnosis of a firm's crisis to the choice of restructuring instrument. Building on a distinction between strategic, economic and financial crisis, and on crisis archetypes derived from the firm's life-cycle stage, it proposes a diagnostic matrix matching each archetype to the CCII tools best suited to address it. The framework is then tested against a real case, the Trussardi-Miroglio restructuring. The aim is to show that instrument choice should follow from economic diagnosis, not from formal considerations alone.

Abstract
This thesis develops a decision framework for resolving corporate distress under the Italian Code of Crisis and Insolvency (CCII), connecting the economic diagnosis of a firm's crisis to the choice of restructuring instrument. Building on a distinction between strategic, economic and financial crisis, and on crisis archetypes derived from the firm's life-cycle stage, it proposes a diagnostic matrix matching each archetype to the CCII tools best suited to address it. The framework is then tested against a real case, the Trussardi-Miroglio restructuring. The aim is to show that instrument choice should follow from economic diagnosis, not from formal considerations alone.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
