Fotointerpretazione e gestione GIS dei dati geomorfologici nella pianura veneta meridionale tra pozzonovo (Pd) e Pettorazza Grimani (Ro)

This study aims to draw up a geomorphological map of a sector of the Southern Venetian Plain, along a stretch of Adige river, through photointerpretation, DEM (Digital Elevation Model) and GIS to manage the obtained data. The observation of all evident features in aerial photographs and comparison whit already existing data in literature had obtained a detailed geomorphological framework of the area. According to the obtained general geomorphological framework, some surveys of campaign and laboratory specific and detailed have been suggested. The first part of the study describes the general framework. A central part is focused in particular on data acquisition, GIS and remote sensing methods used in mapping forms and geomorpholocical structures. The last part shows and discusses the results considering the relations between forms and recognized geomorphological structures and the geomorphological framework represented in the attached map.
