Study of relations between variables of spare parts management and the choice to centralize/decentralize the spare parts warehouse

The present study investigates a new aspect in the warehouse management; it aims to extend the effects of centralization research into spare parts management. The spare parts management of thirty mechanical companies is studied. This analysis allows to develop model that consent to choose if is better, for a given company, have two different warehouses, one for a given company, have two different warehouses, one for spare parts and one for production parts or just one for both parts
