This work deals with an improvment to the Prescribe Vortex Wake (PVW) model, called Prescribed Expanding Vortex Wake (PEVW) model, which uses the Lifting Line theory in the description of the wind turbine blades and the vortex theory in modeling the wakes generated from the blades. The new model will be developed in order to allow an expansion of the wake that usually occurs for low wind speeds and a self-adjustment criterion for the wakes will be implemented

Abstract
This work deals with an improvment to the Prescribe Vortex Wake (PVW) model, called Prescribed Expanding Vortex Wake (PEVW) model, which uses the Lifting Line theory in the description of the wind turbine blades and the vortex theory in modeling the wakes generated from the blades. The new model will be developed in order to allow an expansion of the wake that usually occurs for low wind speeds and a self-adjustment criterion for the wakes will be implementedFile in questo prodotto:
