Abstract
The quality of the weld of aerospace components is strictly related to their thickness close to the welding edge. After a screening of the sensors based on the specifications of the project, a sensor system for the measurement of the thickness has been done. Two LVDTs have been tested on a component with a setup designed ad hoc for the part. The results proved to be reliable and characterized by good accuracy. The system is implementable in the company manufacturer of aerospatial componentsFile in questo prodotto:
