AlXCrFeCoNiCu (x=0.5; 1; 3) high entropy alloys were investigated by SEM, EDX, XRD and DSC in the as cast condition and after 1000h long aging heat treatment at 700-850-1000°C in order to identify the equilibrium phases and evaluate the supposed configurational entropy contribution to solid solution stabilisation. Cu segregation, NiAl intermetallic and sigma phase have been largely detected. The microstructure has been explained according to ternary phase diagrams and solubility limits
