The work presented in this thesis focuses on the design layout and analysis of some components of the Merlo, an experimental ultralight aircraft conceived at the University of Padova. In the first chapter, the wing geometry has been presented. An aerodynamic analysis on wings and tail has been carried out with cfd. The pressure distribution has been exported into to a FEM structural analysis of the wing, in the second chapter. In the third chapter, the landing gear has been sized with FEM
