Abstract | This work shows how it is possible to perform reliable reconstructions of 3D scenes captured with Time-of-Flight consumer sensors. A reconstruction algorithm has been upgraded introducing a more advanced strategy for the fusion task. A software application able to process data acquired form the Creative Senz3D and the Microsoft Kinect for Xbox One has been implemented.
