Abstract
This thesis is a starting point for the TP-AGB phase calibration based on observations of resolved stellar populations in the Small Magellanic Cloud. Using a spatially-resolved SFH, infrared color-magnitude diagrams have been simulated with the population synthesis code TRILEGAL in order to reproduce observed star counts, luminosity functions, color distributions and therefore constrain TP-AGB lifetimes, 3rd DU and mass-loss efficiencies, dust production.File in questo prodotto:
