In the residential sector can be used a combination of fuel cells and heat pump as a microCHP solution for the domesti hot water. In this solution the electrical energy of the microCHP can be used to feed the heat pump. In this thesis has been analyzed the implementation of one or two microCHP coupled with an heat pump and confronted with two different baselines (one with the heat pump already considered and one without) to see the feasibility of an implementation of an EPC contract.
