The dissertation is devoted to outline the efforts on development of an open-source unsteady reacting flow solver with detailed chemistry modelling for detonation engines. The solver was initially tested through the DDT of H2-Air and C2H2- Oxygen mixtures in a notched tubes. The flame velocities obtained inside the DDT tube were compared with theoretical CJ velocities and analytical solutions. Finally, tests to resolve the detonation cell structures were performed.

Abstract
The dissertation is devoted to outline the efforts on development of an open-source unsteady reacting flow solver with detailed chemistry modelling for detonation engines. The solver was initially tested through the DDT of H2-Air and C2H2- Oxygen mixtures in a notched tubes. The flame velocities obtained inside the DDT tube were compared with theoretical CJ velocities and analytical solutions. Finally, tests to resolve the detonation cell structures were performed.File in questo prodotto:
