This thesis analyses the costs of hospitalization of the Azienda Ospedaliera di Padova in 2014 using the Hospital Patient Costing methodology which is the one recognized at the international level for calculating the costs of hospitalization at the patient level and the software CSO (Controllo Strategico Ospedaliero). The study was the result of a 3 months internship in the Management Control office of this highly complex and specialized healthcare organization which in 2014 recorded around 60000 admissions.
