The present thesis is focused on analvising Lean Management within a specific context represented by manufacturing companies located in the Veneto region with aim of providing a deep overview on Lean application, on the factors possibly related to its implementation and on its potential outcomes. The analysis stars by investigation whether exist any possible correlation between several contextual factors (Size, Age, industry, Export Turnover and conpany classification Family Business) and Lean Management implementation. Then it is assessed whether Lean Management implementation can be expected to entail financial improvements measured by company ROS, ROA and Bank Debt over total Turnover. Finally, the analysis closes the loop between context and Lean Management outcomes, investigating whether the above-mentioned contextual factors exert moderating effect, influencing the way in which Lean Management improves business performances
