Abstract
In the thesis is built up an analytical model able to approximately describe the two-point correlation function of avoids in the large-scale distribution of galaxies, the model will be based on a theory developed by R. Sheth and T. Van de Weygaert, which extends to underdense regions the excursion set approach adopted to study the dark matter halo abundance. Such a model, which is based on the study of random walks in the presence of a suitable absorbing barrier, can be basily extended to multiple space-correlated random walks, thereby providing the correct framework to predict the void two-point function.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
