Trade and environment: a european analysis

The paper aims to study the impact of trade openness on the environmental quality for the EU 27 countries. Following the literature, a framework analysis is build distinguishing between inter-industry and intra-industry trade. Econometric regression provides results consistent with the surronding literature; thus, for the scope of the work, can be conclude that, trade among EU 27 countries is negative related with emissions of Greenhouse gases
