Abstract
Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) represents an innovative technique of generating an encryption key shared between two interlocutors that allows to overcome the problems of classical cryptography. Conventionally, it is indicated with Alice the operator sending a train of single photons with random modulation and with Bob the operator able to receive these photons. A state generator based on a Sagnac loop operating at 1550nm has recently been proposed. The purpose of the thesis is that to test the generator at a wavelength of 800nm.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
