This work is part of the ADMIN4D (ADditive Manufactoring & INdustry 4.0 as innovation Driver) project that aims to develop a modular 3D printer of huge dimensions, using innovative materials and forefront technologies. The aim of the thesis is to test the connection between the devices, involved in the printing processes, from an IIoT point of view. To do so, LPWAN technologies are investigated and tested on sensors to understand their potentialities in a close industrial environment.

Abstract
This work is part of the ADMIN4D (ADditive Manufactoring & INdustry 4.0 as innovation Driver) project that aims to develop a modular 3D printer of huge dimensions, using innovative materials and forefront technologies. The aim of the thesis is to test the connection between the devices, involved in the printing processes, from an IIoT point of view. To do so, LPWAN technologies are investigated and tested on sensors to understand their potentialities in a close industrial environment.File in questo prodotto:
