This thesis is part of the ongoing "Icelandic AVH TMS" project which aims to study the effectiveness of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) treatment for schizophrenic patients with persistent auditory verbal hallucinations (AVH). The objective of this thesis is the development of a methodology to be employed in the analysis of the neurophysiological data of the project. The signal we analysed was the P50 evoked potential acquired using high-density EEG (256 channels).
