Synthesis and characterization of novel tris(2-pyridilmethyl)amine (TPMA) complexes for reductive catalysis applications. The thesis work is based on the development of catalytic systems based on metal complexes of cobalt and tris(2-pyridilmethyl)amine ligands. In particular, a new class of TPMA ligands and complexes have been synthetized in order to evaluate how steric and electronic changes in the ligand scaffold could affect the reactivity of these systems in reduction reaction.
Sintesi e caratterizzazione di nuovi complessi tris(2-piridilmetil)amminici (TPMA) per applicazioni in catalisi riduttiva. L'internato di tesi si basa sullo sviluppo di sistemi catalitici a base di complessi metallici di cobalto e tris(2-piridilmetil)ammina. In particolare, sarà sintetizzata una nuova classe di leganti e complessi a base di TPMA per valutare come modifiche steriche ed elettroniche influenzano la reattività di questi sistemi nelle reazioni di riduzione.
