Abstract
In contemporary capitalism, the factory exerts an enveloping grip on the entire social circuit. The roots of this influence already reside in the Marxian theory of “commodity fetishism”, but it will be Lukács who would later attempt to offer an adequate explanation of this dynamic. "History and Class Consciousness" represents in this regard a prolific example for many intellectuals who would later deal with the relations between the primary site of production and the object transformation that results from it. In Italy, a model of the aforementioned influence converges in the socio-political movement known as "operaismo," whose best-known exponents, M. Tronti and R. Panzieri, constitute the leading theorists in the conflict against neocapitalism. But if the two workerists take up the Lukácsane themes, freeing themselves from the idealist matrix, they will both struggle to emancipate themselves from the resulting object structure.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
