This study sought to ascertain whether individualizing (individual-centered) and binding (group-centered) moral messages influence liberals and conservatives in different ways respect to a series of variables: in the preference for a leader of a certain political orientation, in the explicit attitude towards immigration, in the feared consequences of immigration, on a personal, national and global level and in the implicit attitude towards immigrants. Finally, an attempt was made to verify whether the results found reflect those found in previously conducted studies.
