Warehouses are now widespread in all commercial and industrial contexts. In recent years, the growth of the market and the increase in the cost of labor have made their role even more difficult. These structures include fixed assets with high interest expense and which often are subjected to a gradual depreciation due to the deterioration of the materials. Consequently, the general trend of companies is to optimize inventory management in order to reduce costs. The objectives of the project were to analyze and reorganize the logistic flows of some zones of the warehouse through an integrated class-based storage and the creation of an area dedicated to the preparation of bulk material.

I magazzini sono ormai diffusi in tutte le realtà commerciali ed industriali. Negli ultimi anni la crescita del mercato e l’aumento del costo della manodopera hanno reso ancor più difficile il loro ruolo. Queste strutture comprendono beni immobilizzati con elevati interessi passivi e che spesso, a causa del deterioramento dei materiali, sono sottoposti ad un graduale deprezzamento. Di conseguenza la tendenza generale delle imprese è di ottimizzare la gestione delle scorte al fine di ridurre i costi. Gli obiettivi del progetto sono stati analizzare e riorganizzare i flussi logistici di alcune zone del magazzino attraverso la mappatura integrata per classi di stoccaggio e la creazione di un’area dedicata alla preparazione del materiale sfuso.
