The aim of the literature review is to collect, to analyse and to highlight the current literature concern on the effect of AI on e-commerce. In order to do so, I collect several scholars points of view on how AI can affect price setting mechanisms and pricing strategies. There are different stand points and differences of opinions: AI can help to sustain supra-competitive prices but, in other cases, to lower the price to the marginal cost. This literature review will also give space to a deeper analysis of AI market, its history and the economy implication related to its usage.

Abstract
The aim of the literature review is to collect, to analyse and to highlight the current literature concern on the effect of AI on e-commerce. In order to do so, I collect several scholars points of view on how AI can affect price setting mechanisms and pricing strategies. There are different stand points and differences of opinions: AI can help to sustain supra-competitive prices but, in other cases, to lower the price to the marginal cost. This literature review will also give space to a deeper analysis of AI market, its history and the economy implication related to its usage.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
