Since the end of the '60s and for the whole '70s decade, the Italian Republic traveresed a crisis period that represents a clear watershed in its history. The crisis unfolded on multiple planes: social, economic and political. The Anguillara Veneta case offers a glipse on such crises and on their impacts upon the Italian society. Thanks to an exhaustive bibliographical research, a thorough archives research and to the collection of testimonies from the protagonists of the events studied, it has been possible to develop a new interpretative key on those events, highlighting the conncections between the particular case of Anguillara and the broader national situation.
